Hello! I think it is not a work done by fans (But if it were, it would be amazing!), A Spin-off (according to the internet xD) is:

"A spin-off in television is a new series containing characters or settings that originated in a previous series, but with a different focus, tone, or theme"

Apparently it is a series derived from Octonutas that focused more on land exploration, hopefully no problems occur in the production of the program!
