The Octonauts and the Skeleton Coast Adventure is the first episode of the Above & Beyond spin-off series' first season and the first episode of the spin-off itself.
The Octonauts end up shipwrecked with the severely damaged Octopod. Whilst gathering water, they end up meeting Paani, a Monkey hydrologist who they initially presume is trying to steal their water. However, when they learn the reason as to why, the Octonauts and Paani have to work together to bring an Elephant Herd to a new watering hole.

- During Above and Beyond's release in China, this episode was split into 2 parts (one of which presumably named "The Seashore Exploration"). When released on YouTube and Netflix, this was no longer the case.
