The Blue Ringed Octopus is a cousin of Professor Inkling. This creature is only mentioned in The Giant Squid. Blue ring octopi are extremely venomous, as their venom is sometimes potent enough to kill a human in real life. Though the Blue Ringed Octopus is bigger than Inkling, in reality these octopuses are only as big as a golfball.
