Bud is a character that debuts in Season 5 with his family in the episode “The Beavers”. He is a young beaver with an interest in engineering and building things, making him close to Tweak as a result. He returns in Above and Beyond Season 3, now slightly older and he's now in the teenage years, and working as an Octo-Agent.
Appearance[]
Bud's fur is brown for the most part, with some parts of his body with a darker shade of brown, such as his feet and tail. He has three tufts of fur hanging down from his forehead; similar to that of Shellington's. In Season 5, Bud wore a green baseball cap followed by a green satchel. However, in Above and Beyond Season 3, Bud's general outfit consists of a green and yellow beanie with a maple leaf symbol on it along with a pair of green overalls.

- He is one of the few characters to physically age up in Octonauts: Above & Beyond, similar to Periwinkle. He is much bigger, and sports an outfit strikingly similar to his father's.
- If his debut episode in Season 5 doesn’t air before Above & Beyond Season 3’s Netflix release, he will make an early debut outside of the intended chronological order of events before the sequel series, much like Min the Mapmaker.
- In one Above and Beyond Season 3 episode, Bud wears a diving mask when underwater, similar to the one Paani has.
