Codish is one of the other Vegimals. He helps out Tunip and the other Vegimals. He also speaks Vegimalese just like Tunip and the other Vegimals. He is very clumsy and he's always bumping into things. Though he isn't one of the main characters, he is often seen. His head is pink, as he is half cod, half radish.
Codish appears in the books “The Sea of Shade”, “The Frown Fish”, “The Great Ghost Reef”, “Explore the Great Big Ocean”, and “The Growing Goldfish”.
One of Codish’s favorite things to say is “I found it” as featured in The Octonauts and the Caves of Sac Actun.

Trivia[]
- In the episode The Octonauts and the Very Vegimal Christmas, Codish is the one who saved Tunip using the Octo-Ski after he falls off of the Gup-V.
- He appears to have a southern accent similar to Tweak's.
- In the Octonauts and the Crawfish, Codish spills the water from the sink in the kitchen and refills it in the launch bay pool, accidentally finding a cure for the shell rot: salt water.
- His name was called only once in The Crawfish Episode. His name wasn't heard again in other episodes, except in the Octonauts and the Caves of Sac Actun.
- In the Tree Lobsters episode, Codish threw a bowl of batter (maybe) that made Kwazii, Peso, Shellington, and Captain Barnacles slip while catching the baby tree lobster.
- In the Octonauts and the Caves of Sac Actun, Codish was kind of a headache for Tweak when they were finding the signal in the Jungle. Codish looked for things that doesn't seem to be the signal, such as a snail, and a mango, until he finds Captain Barnacles' Octo-Compass.
- In the Octonauts and the Great Barrier Reef, Codish is the first Vegimal to get hit by pirate pie and proceeds going back to the Octo-Shoots.
- In the Octonauts and the Ring of Fire, Codish was being clumsy on holding the shovel, such as not able to catch the shovel but ends up only hitting himself in the head, and trying to shovel using the handle instead of using the scooping part.
- In The Little Goby, he gets the sticky climbing claws stuck to his back, but doesn't notice this until he and the other vegimals go to help the Octonauts get the goby home.
