Koshi[]
Dashi is very close with her little sister Koshi, as they both love reading mystery books and solving mysteries together. Koshi is very well-behaved and very helpful to the crew as she helped them find missing baby snails in The Kelp Monster Mystery and rescue animals from a flash flood in The Australian Outback Mystery, which led the crew to inviting her to become a Junior Octo-Agent. Koshi has also been writing about the mysteries she and Dashi solve together, calling them "The Mystery Sisters" in The Mystery of the Longfin Eels.
Friends/Acquaintances[]
Captain Barnacles[]
Dashi has a very close relationship to the Captain, and always heeds his instructions, conveying to be a good team member. Captain Barnacles is also the one who taught her how to pilot the Octo-Ray through thunderstorms.
Kwazii[]
Not much information is known about Kwazii and Dashi, however, being Octonauts, they must have a clear correlation with each other. They were both astonished when they saw the deep-sea creature called the Siphonophore in season 3, that they both excitedly wanted to get a close look at it. They also worked together to save Barnacles and Peso with the Gup-Q in The Octonauts and The Caves of Sac Actun.
Peso[]
Not much information is known about Peso and Dashi, however, being Octonauts, they must have a clear correlation with each other. They have been seen with each other more often in Octonauts: Above & Beyond when they get paired up for certain missions, like in The Land of Fire and Ice and in The Flying Foxes.
Shellington[]
Shellington and Dashi bond over the many missions they go through researching creatures and their habitats. They have been on several missions together, like when they go deep into the Mariana Trench for a few weeks or documenting sea turtles. In The Octonauts and the Ring of Fire, they were also excited to search for a rare Omura's Whale, but then they had to rescue her from an erupting volcano after a tsunami washed her onto the beach.
Tweak[]
Dashi and Tweak appear to be very close friends as they are some of the only girls in the crew. Dashi can be found occasionally helping Tweak make a new invention, usually involving cameras and coding. They even worked together on building the Gup-Q to save Barnacles and Peso from the Caves of Sac Actun.
Professor Inkling[]
Not much information is gathered upon Inkling and Dashi, however, being Octonauts, they must have a clear correlation with each other. They seem to share interest in certain books as Professor practically lives in the library.
Tunip and the Vegimals[]
Not much information is gathered upon the Vegimals and Dashi, however, being Octonauts, they all must have a clear correlation with each other.
Paani[]
Dashi and Paani have went on many missions together. Plus they appear to like the same things, like surfing or observing new creatures. They seem to go on missions extremely frequent and Dashi worries a lot about him and Paani seems to know that as shown in The Arabian Camels Season 2 Above and Beyond. They work pretty good together and both have extreme interests in surfing.
Ryla[]
Ryla and Dashi have been close friends for a long time. In The Octonauts and The Caves of Sac Actun, Dashi reveals that she was Ryla's photographer before becoming an octonaut, and she taught her everything to know about cave diving. Soon, Ryla herself becomes an Octo-Agent in Octonauts: Above & Beyond.
Pinto[]
They only interact on a few occasions, but Dashi acts a bit like a big sister figure to Pinto. She even flew him in the Octo-Ray in The Curious Penguin while taking him home. Also took him on a side trip whilst dropping him home and without her taking him, Pinto would’ve had to waited more to earn his well-earned octo agent title and the Octo watch.

Muriel the Manta Ray[]
Dashi met Muriel in The Manta Rays when she crashed into her while trying to leap out of the water. Later, Dashi and the Octonauts helped her solved an ancient riddle to find a secret manta ray feeding area. Muriel was clumsy at first, but with some encouragement from Dashi and the crew, she became better and more determined in her skills of leaping.
Violet and Vick the Surfing Snails[]
Dashi met Violet and Vick in The Surfing Snails, surfing together. She also rescued them before their bubbles popped and were washed away by a big wave. In return, they praised Dashi for her excellent surfing skills.
Elton the Elk[]

Fire Ants[]
In The Fire Ants episode, Dashi, Paani and tweak formed a bridge for the fire ants to cross enabling them to get to safety. They were thanked greatly for this rarely seen act of kindness.

Lula Mae, Little Tex, and their Swarm[]
Dashi met Lula Mae and her brother Little Tex when they were on their way to Mexico. Little Tex seems to really like Dashi when compliments on how big he is for a butterfly. She also flew Little Tex back to his big sister and swarm and let the Swarm attach to the bottom of the Octo-Ray when the tornado hit.
