Elton is a male elk that appears in Octonauts: Above and Beyond "The Curious Penguin". He lives in Yellowstone National Park in North America where he meets Pinto. At first, Pinto thought he was a reindeer, until Elton corrected him. Pinto was impressed by his antlers and Elton claimed they were strong enough to defend himself. As he lifted Pinto onto his back, he notices they're standing near a sulfur spring, a spring with a smell like rotten eggs, is super hot, and full of sulfur which makes the water acidic and can burn anything and anyone that touches it. As Dashi and Paani come looking for Pinto, the ground breaks into chunks and starts to dissolve in the acidic pool, making the one they were standing on begin to shrink. Elton gets Pinto to the top of a nearby ledge where he uses the ropes from camp to tie to Elton's antlers and throw the other end down to Dashi and Paani to pull them up before their chunk dissolved completely. They then thank Pinto and Elton for saving them.
