The Gup-C is a big, blue Gup with a large towline. It is Shellington and Dashi's favorite, with them being able to pilot it with some competence in comparison with the rest of the Gups. It looks like a blue whale. The towline is for pulling Gups out of wedged objects, for example, rocks. The window at the top is used for the icebreaker attachment. With the exception of Professor Inkling Octopus and the Vegimals, all the Octonauts have driven the Gup-C.

- With the exception of The Ghost Ship, every episode featuring Shellington piloting the Gup-C has him doing so with a surprising amount of competency, compared to the Gup-E, which he occasionally has problems with, and the Gup-D, which he constantly crashes.
