The Gup-M is a land-based Gup. It stands for the mudskipper and/or motorcycle. It first appears as art in the credits, before making its animated debut in the Caves of Sac Actun movie where Tweak, Codish, and Grouber use them to search the Yucatan Jungle to find Barnacles and Peso. Official merchandise and toys of the Gup have already been produced.
This Gup reappears in Octonauts: Above & Beyond in Season 2. It's mainly driven through forests, like in The Snag Hotel and The European Bison. It also appears at the end of the season where it's driven through canyons in The Monarch Butterflies. Shellington's nephew Periwinkle even made a toy based on this gup, which, according to his mother, makes a "lovely back scratcher".
