Gup-W toy

Kfc toy
The Gup-W is a medical Gup. It seems to be a large mobile hospital for Peso. The Gup-W was first released in animation form in Season 5 and in the Great Barrier Reef musical special. In Octonauts and the Great Barrier Reef, we have learned that it houses a couple of medical octo-bots; the Nurse-bot and the Bandage-bot, and there are little algae gardens to grow algae to feed the reef creatures. Inside the mouth of the Gup-W, there are bubble filters to clean water and it also includes an entrance/exit for the Gup-P.
Entrances[]
The Gup-W has many entrances. The front part of the roof can split in half and fold to the left and right sides (This is called "Reef Mode" apparently as that's what Captain Barnacles calls it). The section in the left and right center can also fold out to allow the X-Ray sick bay to be removed. The bottom part of the front, the ramp, can also open after the roof opens. This allows Kwazii to drive the Gup-P in.
Sick Bay[]
The X-Ray sick bay is near the back of the Gup and is connected to the fin on the roof. It can be lifted up through the roof and outside of the Gup. This allows Peso to help creatures outside of the Gup. It is also where Professor Inkling keeps the algae gardens so they can grow algae to feed the fish.

Engine[]
Much like the Octopod, the Gup-W is powered by a similar type of bubble engine. It can be accessed from panel on the left side of the Gup, near the tail fin. By folding down the panel, it also works as ramp for Peso or Tweak to access the engine.
Interior[]

Much like Peso's sick bay in the Octopod, there is 1 screen at the back and 1 panel for optical purposes. On the front roof, there are screens showing the location of the Gup. On one of the panels near the ground, there is storage for a rescue net. On the other side, on the opposite panel, there is storage for Tweak's tools, Peso's stethoscope, medical bag, 3 rolls of bandage and 3 cases.
Trivia[]
- In the toy, compared to Peso, the Gup-W is not very large, averagely around the size of Gup-K or similar. The toy is definitely not the largest Gup, smaller than the Gup-I or the Octopod.
- Similar to most other Gups, the W stands for Whale Shark. This is mentioned in the 'Gup-W and Gup-P Unboxing!' video on YouTube.
- The Gup-W and Gup-P are supposed to work together (It is also confirmed from some books of Season 5 that the Gup-P will be in Season 5).
- It first appeared in "The Great Barrier Reef" special, alongside the Gup-P.
- Like the Gup-I and the Gup-G, it can hold the entire crew inside like a house.
- In The Red Tide its revealed it can go on land.
