Lucille is a female armadillo first seen in Octonauts: Above and Beyond in the episode The Nine Banded Armadillo. After a fire in the Everglades, her home was burned and covered in ashes which made it hard for her to sniff for her favorite food, bugs and worms, to eat. So, she stole a turtle egg from Belle the Turtle to try and snack on. Tweak, Dashi, and Ranger Marsh pursued her in the Gup-K, but she kept outmaneuvering them by jumping over a high pile of fallen logs and swimming under the water. Soon, she was cornered by three hungry alligators, but then was saved by the Octo-Agents, and she finally introduced herself and confessed why she took the egg. They then returned Belle's stolen egg and cleared the ashes off of Lucille's home using the Gup-K's fans so she could hunt for bugs and worms again.
