Pete is one of Kwazii's friends. He is a big fan of pirates, and always dreamt of meeting a real live pirate, like Kwazii, and becoming a pirate sidekick. Pete sometimes squawks like a parrot after he speaks. When the crew found Parrot Island (which is actually Parrotfish Island,) he eventually decided to stay with the other Parrotfish. In Season 1, Pete is green, blue, yellow, pink and white. But in Season 2, he is blue and yellowish-green.
Pete the Parrotfish is a lot different from a Parrot. A Parrotfish can change colors, eat algae, and make a bubble. A parrot cannot do any of those.
Because he is named Pete, he is likely named after Calico Jack's parrot Pete.
