Irving[]
Inkling's cousin Irving has only been seen in The Giant Squid. Inkling hadn't seen him in a long time, and he became worried for him thinking he might be in trouble. He goes with the crew to find him, and Irving grabs the Gup-A when he smelled the fish biscuits they brought along. As Inkling gives him fish biscuits to eat, he finally greets his cousin and introduces him to the Octopod and the rest of the crew.
Squirt[]
Squirt is Inkling's loyal nephew, as shown in The Great Christmas Rescue. When Squirt was trapped under the seamount, he became worried sick, especially when none of the other creatures have seen him. After the crew saved him with the Gup-X, Inkling was overjoyed to see that he was alright and embraced him in his tentacles.

Tunip and the Vegimals[]
The Vegimals often visits Inkling's library and accompanies him. Sometimes, Inkling also helps the Vegimals bake using his many tentacles.
Min the Mapmaker[]
Min is a close friend of Professor Inkling whom she met after rescuing him off bamboo trees years ago. They appear to be very supportive of each other. Min also calls him "Inky" in Above and Beyond Season 2: The Rainforest Rescue. Because of that, it is indicated that they have feelings for each other.

The two having first met in The Twelve Year Bloom, get along quite well. This is as Selva’s interest in plants is often combined with Professor Inkling’s knowledge. This leads them to then work efficiently together in successful missions, like in The Kauri Forest
