Octonauts Wiki

Professor Natquik is an Arctic fox who is also a polar explorer and Captain Barnacles' old friend. He taught Barnacles how to do field research when he was a Polar Bear Scout.

His radio broke long ago, but he couldn't leave Antarctica because he discovered icequakes in the ice. He was put in charge of the Antarctic ice research station (now the Gup-I) after he met the Octonauts who saved his life work. He also has a very good sense of hearing, like Tweak. He has somewhat better hearing than Tweak. He can hear even the smallest crack in the ice. As of Above and Beyond: Season 2, he is voiced by William Vanderpuye.[1]

Appearance[]

Professor Natquik has white fur and almond eyes. He wears a green hooded jacket with the Polar Scout logo on it and green pants to match along with black boots.

Discoveries:[]

  • In the episode of Octonauts: Above and Beyond Season One, The Antarctica Rescue, Professor Natquik discovers a river flowing in Antarctica-inland! He, Paani, and Dashi worked together to find out why it was happening, because Antarctica is pack ice and there is no such thing as rivers, lakes, ponds, or any flowing water that much inland! And on the way, Paani finds a skua, a seabird, who was lured more inland because of this. It is considered a great discovery because Antarctica is actually a desert and where Natquik was sitting, he was really far from the ocean!
