Although the Reef Lobsters are small, their claws are very strong. They are found throughout numerous episodes and are common in the series. In The Octonauts and The Undersea Storm, a young lobster saves Kwazii and the Gup-B.

Looks

Reef Lobsters are small lobsters with a pink back with dark pink spots, and lighter faces and chests. They have a rounded body with dark pink pincers, 4 orange legs with a pink stripe in the middle, a tail with several pink lines on it, and dark pink antennae.

Background

Usually reef lobsters usually live on coral reefs. They are also sometimes seen on the seafloor, in rocky coves, kelp forests, seamounts, mangrove forests, and even rivers. They are usually passive creatures, but when irritated or in pain they will start pinching the attacker.

Trivia

While reef lobsters only live in the ocean, one was seen in an Australian river. However, that may have been the early design for a crawfish.
