Ronald is a baby okapi who appears in Above and Beyond Season 2: The Jungle Ghost. He has striped legs like a zebra and a long, purple tongue like a giraffe. He also has the ability to hear infrasonic sounds, which are far beyond what other creatures can hear. But his ears are very sensitive. So, if the volume is turned up enough for creatures like polar bears to hear, it becomes too loud and hurts his ears. He eats all of the Kelp Cakes that Kwazii and Tweak had at their campsite. As Tracker brought them more, they discover Ronald in the forest, and learned that he was lost and could not find his Mama. They check to see if he belonged to the zebra herd and then the giraffe herd, but he was not either of the species. They soon find his Mama by following her infrasonic noises and learned that she is an okapi. When she sees Ronald with them, she warns them that he is supposed to stay in his nest to stay safe. Because okapis' feet can release a stinky scent and create a trail, which can attract predators like leopards. The trio saves the Okapi Mother and Ronald from the leopard, and they return him to the nest so he can wait for his mom to be back with dinner, which turns out to be charcoal from the campfire site.
