The GUP-X nearly crashes into the biggest hydrothermal vent in the area, but luckily, Klaus the yeti crab connects the brakes wires inside the small control panel. It succeeds, fortunately.

Shellington calls for backup, and [[Captain Barnacles]], [[Peso]], and [[Kwazii]] rush in to help find the Vegimals. Captain Barnacles comes up with a plan to distract the barracudas while the Vegimals hurry at work to plant the mangrove seeds. The process successes, and the forest is now back in great condition. back at the [[Octopod]], the barracudas get to have a nice snack of fish biscuits with sparkling seaweed sprinkles.

The Octonauts help a group of Red Rock Crabs get back to their home in the Galapagos Islands, with the help of their old friends, the Marine Iguanas.
16 "The Sea Sponge" 19 March 2014
Examining a sick sea sponge, Peso is surprised to discover that all sorts of creatures live inside it, treating it like a hotel, a behavior known as commensalism. While checking on his patient, Peso discovers a sperm whale louse inside, sick and unable to move.
17 "The Immortal Jellyfish" 20 March 2014
Shellington tells about the life of an Immortal Jellyfish, which he'd never had the chance to see one in real. But when he found out that Barnacles, Kwazii, and Peso have found one, Shellington tries his best to get to the coral reef and see the Baby Immortal Jellyfish but is too excited that he hits some bumps and turns along the way.
18 "The Urchin Invasion" 21 March 2014
Red sea urchins are attacking and destroying a kelp forest as they eat away at it. The Octonauts are helped by Shellingtons's sister, Pearl, another sea otter and scientist with her baby, Periwinkle.
19 "The Hammerhead Sharks" 1 May 2014
Shellington follows a group of baby hammerhead sharks on their first hunting trip when he crashes the Gup-D and three of the hammerheads swim away. The Octonauts have to find them before they get into trouble while looking for food and find out where are they all heading.
20 "The Loggerhead Sea Turtle" 12 March 2014
The Octonauts are in the "Sea of Vanishing Ships," mentioned in Kwazii's Spooky Pirate Stories. The shaking from a tremor splits the Gup-X and the crew. While Peso and Tweak try to get the gup parts back together, Captain Barnacles and Kwazii meet a loggerhead sea turtle named Lenny, who was trapped underneath the crashed Gup-X glider.
