The TG-1 (Terra Gup 1) is a small, land-going Gup. It is exclusive to the Octonauts spin-off show, Above and Beyond, and it debuts in the first season.
In The Hot Spring Snake, it was seen being operated by Dashi and Tunip, before a few wires snapped and the TG-1 went crazy, but they didn't see that problem then. Later, it was driven by Dashi and Tweak, and that's when Tunip discovered the snapped wires so she could fix it. And in The Australian Outback Mystery, Dashi drives it again with Koshi in the passenger side, as they used it to help bring the animals (a red kangaroo and her joey, a bearded dragon lizard, and a desert crab and her triplets) to higher ground to escape from the flash flood.
The legs can expand to walk through deep mud. The bottom of each leg can use spikes or suction cups to help the Gup stay in one place or pull heavy objects. It also has built in wings for flight/gliding, while the front ends have a special pair of retractable prongs, evocative of a beetle's horns.
Tracker drives this Gup only one time so far in The Jungle Ghost when he brings more food for Kwazii and Tweak to their campsite.
The TG-1 is also capable of going underwater, with the two rearmost legs serving as thrusters while the front four legs fold up alongside the body as seen in The Mystery of the Longfin Eels.
