The Terra-Gup 6 is a Terra Gup that is featured in the Octonauts spin-off Octonauts: Above & Beyond. The TG-6 first appears in Above & Beyond Season 3. With its debut in the first episode: The Pininga Turtle.
This Terra-Gup can perform various movements, as shown in its debut episode, such as the ‘dart maneuver’. It also has a flutter mode, which is really a stall/hovering control, just like its inspiration. This Terra-Gup is based of a hummingbird, therefore can fly at extremely high speeds. When flying at high speeds, a shiny, luminous turquoise trail appears from the end of the Terra-Gup. The Terra-Gup has 2 seats, both with their own set of controls with an Octo-Alert button. It has a protective glass cover that spans around the center of the Terra-Gup, this is to keep the driver(s) dry when used in rain and/or snow.
This is the first Terra-Gup that has a sole purpose of flying, though the Terra-Gup 1 can sort of fly (glide), the TG-6 can fly efficiently for longer distances. It also features a rescue/grappler line, which lowers from the front-most tip of the Terra-Gup.
The rescue line was used to rescue Tweak and Pablo from a lagoon & help Paani and Min to stop the Octoblimp from crashing into a mountain. So far, it has been driven once by Tweak and thrice by Captain Barnacles. It has had two different passengers, Paani & Tracker, both of which were driven by Captain Barnacles.
