Plot[]
Early Morning under the sea[]
The sun has risen beautifully above the sea, and everyone in the Octopod seems to be still sleeping. Kwazii is still snoozing, when his alarm clock rings, bouncing his yarn ball off, Kwazii catches it, and decides it is the perfect morning to go sea monster hunting. Kwazii is being quiet while the captain and the others are still sleeping. He then hears a loud strange noise coming from outside so he gets in the Gup-B thinking it was a giant sea monster, but as soon as he flew out of the water on Flying Fish mode, he spots a blowhole spouting him back into the sea.
The Injured Whale[]
As soon as Kwazii lands back into the water, he discovers a big blue whale with his tail injured. He asks the whale but it bellows which flew Kwazii off course, then the whale apologizes and says his tail is hurt and was trying to call for help for hours but no one has heard him, he says his name is Wendell. Kwazii offers to help but Wendell declines because Kwazii is smaller then him, then Kwazii says he is more then big enough, so after Wendell declines it again, Kwazii sounds the Octo-alert, announcing everyone to head to the launch-bay.
Emergency[]
As soon as everyone woke up from their sleep due to the Octo Alert ringing, they all wonder who sounded the Octo-Alert, Kwazii pops up on screen, and explains the situation. Then he shows what the problem is, Professor inkling explains lots of things a blue whale needs and what could happen to a blue whale. Soon, after gathering everyone into their gups. Wendell begins to get exhausted and his injured tail is only making things worse. Kwazii contacts the others to hurry to the rescue, and Tweak announces that they are attaching the last octo float to the strong net.
Biggest Rescue ever[]
As soon as Wendell got really exhausted, he gives up and falls downwards, then the Octonauts suddenly rescue Wendell and the Octo Floats bring him to the surface. Kwazii tells Wendell that they are just octo floats and the Octonauts used them in order to rescue him. Captain barnacles says that Peso will work on fixing his tail, but in the meantime. Wendell needs to eat something in order to build up his strength, Wendell says he eats 40 million krill a day. Then Dashi, Shellington and Kwazii dive deep underwater, Peso says due to his tail being very big, he's going to need more then just bandages. So he and Tweak head back to the Octopod to grab supplies. Barnacles comforts Wendell, meanwhile in the deep sea, Kwazii and the others discover a deep sea swarm of Krill, and began chasing them up to the surface. Back at the Octopod Tweak and Peso are working on the mechanical tail, Peso says it looks complicated, but Tweak insists it was going to be fine. Then back at the sea, Wendell was waiting sadly, then the krill swarm Kwazii and the others were following suddenly catches Wendell's attention, and Wendell gets excited, and eats it up. The net somehow is stretching out but does not rip. Kwazii and the others says that they are going back for a second swarm of Krill.
Free Falling Emergency[]
Tweak and Peso have arrived back with a large mechanical tail, and Tweak says Wendell can use his back muscles to power that mechanical tail. As soon as Peso and Tweak strap it on carefully, Kwazii, Dashi, and Shellington have returned. With a second swarm of Krill, then Wendell eats it but is not holding very still for Peso to tighten the bolts on the Mechanical tail. The net carrying him suddenly rips due to his heavy weight, then it began to rip even more and Wendell falls downwards again. Peso refuses to leave him so he can continue to screw the bolts on his mechanical tail. The Octonauts begin to immediately chase after him, and Tweak uses the Gup-C's grappling hook to try and hold the net. But Wendell was too heavy, the net rips apart completely and catches Peso. Wendell continues falling and begins falling, then he starts giving up again and says his last words before falling into the deep trench. Just then Kwazii quickly sprung into action, and began to re-tighten the bolts as fast as he can. Barnacles releases Peso out of the nets, but then Wendell and Kwazii have fallen deep into the trench and disappeared.
Safe and Sound[]
The Octonauts were very worried and thought that Wendell and Kwazii were gone, then Wendell and Kwazii come out and Wendell is happy that the mechanical tail works well. Then Wendell thanks Kwazii and the Octonauts for helping him and his tail, then Wendell begins to test it out, and he tells Kwazii to race him to the nearest kelp forest, while the Octonauts watch them race into the deep blue of the sea.
