- Shellington says that the father Platypus has a stinger on his back leg, however in one of the last shots, the mother Platypus has a stinger, too.
- Shellington got sick from the platypus sting, but in real life, the sting would've killed him.
- Even though only males have stingers, the mother and the baby had one their own.
- This is the second episode where Peso accidentally stands on Shellington's foot without realizing it (first was The Narwhal).
