Tweak and the crew are on their way to visit her friend Sandy the Leatherback sea turtle until the Octopod runs out of electricity, blacks out, and it ends up stranded right on the edge of a cliff. As the Octonauts try to think of a way to re-energize the Octopod and secure it, they meet an electric torpedo ray named Ray who, along with a bunch of other torpedo rays, offer to help the Octonauts out.
Trivia[]
- This is the second appearance of Sandy.
- Ray and his friends are the first species of rays to have a creature report.
- This is the closest that Barnacles has gotten to saying Tweak's catchphrase of "Buncha muchy crunchy carrots". If not for the power cut, he would have said it perfectly.
Creature Report[]
- Ray the Electric Torpedo Ray
Plot[]
The Octopod is on its way to an ocean trench to visit Sandy, Tweak says that she can't wait to see Sandy and puts up a couple of photos of Sandy swimming in the underwater currents when all of a sudden, the Octopods battery runs out of power. Dashi tries to activate the octo lift but it only goes halfway so Captain Barnacles tells Peso and Kwazii to form a "totem pole" so Barnacles can reach the steering wheel and stop the octopod. Unfortunately, the octopod stops right infront of a ocean trench and could fall off any minute. The crew exits the Octopod and secures it to a couple of rocks to prevent it from falling off the ledge.
