Summary[]
Special visitors, Peso's mother and his little brother Pinto, come to the Octopod and make an announcement for the annual great penguin race as Pinto signed Peso up for the penguin race against the best penguin, Hugo. The Octonauts train Peso for the race, so Peso can be able to win the race and beat Hugo, but an iceberg traps Peso and Hugo underwater! So, the Octonauts must save them. Will Hugo win or will Peso do what's more important than winning?

- A Narwhal, Walrus, and Beluga whale appeared cheering Hugo on when they are from the opposite side of the world in The Arctic.
- This special reveals Peso's ability to be underwater without a helmet, a natural trait in penguins.
- This is the first episode where a guest character drives a Gup.
- Narwhals, Walruses and Beluga Whales, are only found in the Arctic, it is unknown why it's in the Antarctic, it may have traveled downwards from the Arctic to the Antarctic to watch the race and help compete with Peso and Hugo.
- The giant squid and dolphin did not appear to cheer with Peso and Hugo, instead they just tried to steal the clam, but failed to have it. They did not make their last appearance during the cheer scene with the blue whale, orca whale, beluga, narwhal, and some random fish. The walrus and dolphin had the same thing with the giant squid.
