Peso's younger brother Pinto has arrived to visit the Octopod and spend time with his older brother. But because of Kwazii's influence, he’s more interested in being a pirate than becoming a medic. However, the visit soon turns into a rescue mission for Dashi and Shellington when they get ensnared in a giant kelp forest. Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso go out to help them, with Pinto sneaking aboard to join them, after previously being told he wasn't allowed to go on the mission. However, it turns out Dashi and Shellington aren't the only ones in trouble.

- This is the first episode where the Octo-Alert is sounded when no one is filmed pressing it. Barnacles is likely the one who sounded it.
- This episode marks Pinto's first appearance in the franchise after previously being mentioned by Peso in The Blobfish Brothers.
- Once Barnacles, Kwazii, and Peso approach the Gup-E. Barnacles tells to Peso to only check on Shellington, rather than both him and Dashi.
