”The Octonauts and the Little Goby” is the fifteenth episode of the Above & Beyond spin-off series' first season.
While the Octonauts are helping the resident creatures of an island in Hawaii that was struck by a tropical storm, the Vegimals are left to escort a goby back to its algae farm after he was washed into the ocean by the storm.

- This episode shows the Octonauts doing a big mission together, which is fairly uncommon in most episodes of Above & Beyond, as the format usually entails one small group of characters out on a mission with the rest of the Octonauts completely uninvolved.
- This marks the third appearance of at least one barracuda.
- The Vegimals play a vital role in this episode as they helped care for the goby and brought him home in the Terra Gup 2.
- This is the second episode where a freshwater creature nearly gets sick after being exposed to saltwater (first was The Baby Gator).
