ACT 1
(The scene shows Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso are sailing in the Gup-A.)
Peso: (yawns) What a long day. I can't wait to get back to the Octopod to get some rest.
Captain Barnacles: Don't worry, Peso. We'll be home in no time.
Kwazii: It just so happens that I know a super secret shortcut through a mangrove forest. Turn left up here, Captain.
(The Gup-A goes left and it sails into an underwater mangrove forest.)
Kwazii: Something's not right here. The mangrove forest is completely flooded!
Peso: He's right, Captain.
(He pulls up a mangrove forest on the screen.)
Peso: Here's what the mangrove forest used to look like.
Kwazii: And now it's almost all underwater!
Captain Barnacles: We'd better take a look around and see if any creatures need our he- uh, oh.
(They see that Kwazii had left the Gup-A early, as always.)
Captain Barnacles: We'll swim the rest of the way, Peso.
(Barnacles and Peso exit the Gup-A and follow Kwazii to the surface, where they start walking.)
Captain Barnacles: Looks like it's deserted.
Kwazii: Aye.
(A pair of a Mudskipper's eyes pops out of a pile of mud, but they disappear when Peso looks behind him.)
Peso: (gasps, gulps)
Captain Barnacles: We should all stay alert. Let's spread out and check for creatures.
Kwazii and Peso: Aye, Captain.
(They split up and Peso turns behind and front when the Mudskipper's eyes appear again. As Peso walks, the mudskipper hops into his hat.)
Peso: No creatures here, Captain.
(Another Mudskipper hops into Kwazii's hat.)
Kwazii: All clear over here too.
(A third Mudskipper hops into Barnacles' hat.)
Captain Barnacles: No creatures here either.
(The three meet in the middle.)
Captain Barnacles: Octonauts, let's move out.
(They activate their helmets and dive under. As they swam, the Mudskipper in Kwazii's hat slaps his forehead with its tail.)
Kwazii: Ow!
(The Mudskipper in Peso's hat slips his forehead with its tail.)
Peso: Oh!
(The Mudskipper in Barnacles' hat slaps his forehead with its tail.)
Captain Barnacles: Huh! (looking around) W-what's going on?
(The Mudskipper hangs by Captain Barnacles' face.)
Captain Barnacles: Hello. What are you doing in here?
(The other Mudskippers in Kwazii and Peso's hats look at them.)
Peso: Flappity flippers!
Captain Barnacles: Kwazii, Peso, open your helmets, quick!
Mudskippers: No!
Captain Barnacles: Don't worry. We just need to open our helmets so we can get you back in the water.
Dark Mudskipper: Forget about it! This water's too deep for us, and we can't swim too good.
Kwazii: But you're fish! What kind of fish doesn't want to be in the water?
Dark Mudskipper: Ain't it obvious? We're Mudskippers!
Captain Barnacles: Mudskippers?
Medium Mudskipper: That's right. We can breathe air. (inhales) So we spend most of our time on land.
Light Mudskipper: Mud's what we need. That's where we live, and that's where we eat. There used to be plenty of mud around here, but now it's all underwater.
Captain Barnacles: Oh. So that's why you hitched a ride in our helmets.
Dark Mudskipper: With everything flooded, we can't stay here. There's hardly any mud left.
Light Mudskipper: Yeah! If we don't find a new place, we're done for! (dramatic sobbing)
Kwazii: Well, why didn't you say so? We'll help you find a new home, mateys.
Light Mudskipper: (sobbing) Ooh. You'd do that for us?
Dark Mudskipper: What's the catch?
Captain Barnacles: There's no catch at all.
Peso: We're the Octonauts. Helping sea creatures is what we do.
Mudskippers: Uh, okay.
Medium Mudskipper: But it's not like we need help or nothing.
Captain Barnacles: Of course not. But you'd be doing us a favor if you let us help you.
Dark Mudskipper: Well, since you put it that way, sure, why not?
(Barnacles sounds the Octo-alert with his Octo-compass.)
Captain Barnacles: Octonauts, to the launch bay.
(The Octonauts symbol appears, as 4 cornered scenes show Shellington, Tunip, Dashi and the three Octonauts stop what they're doing, and head for the launch bay. Then, the scene cuts to Captain Barnacles in the launch bay as the other Octonauts appear from the sides.)
Captain Barnacles: Octonauts, we need to find a new home for our friends: The Mudskippers.
Shellington: Mudskippers, eh? Fascinating! I've never seen one up close. They'll need a place with lots of mud.
(Dashi activates a map on the Launch Bay's monitor)
Dashi: There's another Mangrove forest nearby, Captain. This one's not flooded.
Shellington: There should be plenty of mud there.
Captain Barnacles: If we leave now, then we should be able to get there by tomorrow morning.
Dark Mudskipper: Hey! Don't go out of your way of our account of nothing!
Captain Barnacles: Oh, um... we happen to be heading that way, anyway.
Light Mudskipper: What a Coinkidink! I ask you, what are the odds?
Captain Barnacles: Tunip, prepare a nice, muddy space for our guests in the garden pod.
Tunip: (speaks in Vegimalese)
Captain Barnacles: Dashi, set a course for the Mangrove forest.
Dashi: Already on it, Captain. (Programs the Octopod's destination to the Mangrove Forest)

ACT 2
(The scene shows the Octopod in travel mode, on its way to the Mangrove Forest. In the garden pod, the Vegimals are spraying a hill that is covered in mud. Barnacles is in there as well. The hose turns off.)
Captain Barnacles: Think you'll be all right in here, mudskippers?
(The dark mudskipper pops out.)
Dark Mudskipper: Eh, the mud's a little lumpy, but, uh, I guess it ain't terrible.
(The light mudskipper pops out.)
Light Mudskipper: Yeah, not bad.
(The medium mudskipper pops out.)
Medium Mudskipper: I've skipped in worse.
Captain Barnacles: Good. Well, uh, we'll see you in the morning, then.
Mudskippers: Nighty-night!
(The mudskippers dive into the mud, as Barnacles and the Vegimals leave. The Octopod powers down for the night.)

ACT 3
(The next scene shows Barnacles sleeping in bed.)
Captain Barnacles: (snoring)
(He hears a splatter noise and wakes up.)
Captain Barnacles: Ah! What in the world?
(The Octopod powers up again. Barnacles, in his captain's uniform, goes down the chute to a hallway where Kwazii and Peso meet him.)
Peso: Captain, what's that horrible noise?
Captain Barnacles: (looking behind him and turning back to his mates) I'm not sure, Peso. It sounds like it's coming from the garden port.
(The mudskippers slide on the floor with their surroundings covered in mud.)
Captain Barnacles: What's going on?!
Light Mudskipper: Just solving a situation here.
Peso: By mud wrestling?
Medium Mudskipper: He was in my mud!
Dark Mudskipper: Your mud? Forget about it! It's my mud now.
(The medium mudskipper shakes his fin at him.)
Medium Mudskipper: I'm not listening. Talk to the fin.
(The dark mudskipper throws mud at him, knocking him down.)
Medium Mudskipper: Ooh!
(The three Octonauts walk over to them.)
Captain Barnacles: Easy, mudskippers. We just want to -
(The three slip on mud.)
Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso: Whoa!
(They get all muddy and fall on the ground. The mudskippers skip across their heads. The mudskippers skip onto an Octo-lift. Barnacles gets up and runs up to them, but gets mud thrown in his face.)
Captain Barnacles: What? (groans)
(The Octo-lift takes the mudskippers up to HQ. Kwazii and Peso assist the captain.)
Captain Barnacles: They're heading for the HQ.
(The three run for the HQ. Barnacles climbs up the ladder to see the mudskippers and a muddy HQ.)
Dark Mudskipper: There's mud in your eye!
Light Mudskipper: Hey, whoever jumps the highest, gets all the mud to himself.
Dark Mudskipper: (gasps) You're on! Check this out.
(He jumps.)
Dark Mudskipper: Aha! Whoo-hoo!
(Mud splats on Kwazii, Peso and Barnacles.)
Octonauts: (shout)
Medium Mudskipper: You call that a jump? This is a jump!
(He jumps off the chair.)
Medium Mudskipper: Hey!
(Shellington enters.)
Shellington: Jumping jellyfish! What's going on? Oh!
(He dodges some mud, which hits Kwazii.)
Kwazii: Deah! These mudskippers are having a rumble over the mud, and they sure fight dirty.
Shellington: Of course! I should have know!. Mudskippers like to have their own space, and they often fight over it.
(Mud splatters on his head.)
Shellington: Oh!
Captain Barnacles: Then there's only one way to settle this. We'll have to separate them until we reach the mangrove forest in the morning.
(He spots three green bowls.)
Captain Barnacles: Ha!
(He picks up the bowls.)
Captain Barnacles: Peso, Kwazii, catch!
(He tosses two bowls over to the two. Shellington is now covered in mud like the three.)
Captain Barnacles: Kwazii, (scoops up mud) scoop up some mud and head for the game port.
(Kwazii scoops up mud.)
Captain Barnacles: Peso, you take some mud to the launch bay.
(Peso scoops up mud.)
Captain Barnacles: And I'll head back to the garden port.
(He runs and jumps into an Octo-chute.)
Dark Mudskipper: Hey, that's my mud! Come back!
(He follows him into the chute.)
Peso: Sorry about this!
(Peso runs and jumps into a chute. Kwazii does the same.)
Kwazii: Catch me if you can!
(Kwazii jumps into a chute, and the light mudskipper follows him.)
Light Mudskipper: (laughing)
(He jumps into a chute.)

ACT 4
(In the garden port, the dark mudskipper is relaxing in his mud space. Barnacles is in there with him.)
Captain Barnacles: Is everyone comfortable now?
(Peso and the medium mudskipper are in the launch bay.)
Medium Mudskipper: Sure am! Thanks to Peso, I've got this whole place to myself.
(In the game pod, Kwazii is relaxing in a chair with the light mudskipper.
Light Mudskipper: Oh, yeah! Kwazii said the mud is all mine.
Dark Mudskipper: My name is mud - Captain Mud.
Captain Barnacles: Uh, let's get some sleep now. We need to take you mudskippers to your new home as early as possible tomorrow morning.
(The Octopod shuts down for the night again.)
Mudskippers: Good night!

ACT 5
(The scene shows Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso in the Mangrove Forest, taking the Mudskippers to the forest).
Kwazii: Now THIS is what a Mangrove forest should look like!
Captain Barnacles: Kwazii, Peso, let's find some mud banks for our friends.
Medium Mudskipper: You're gonna let him order you around like that?!
Peso: Well, he is the Captain.
Medium Mudskipper: Says who?! You're just good as he is!
Light Mudskipper: Him?! Ah, don't make me laugh! Kwazii here, should be in charge!
Dark Mudskipper: Forget about it! The captain here is the toughest guy around! Well, besides me of course.
Captain Barnacles: Hmm...
(The three walk through the Mangrove forest)
Light Mudskipper: Uh, they going to do that only? Fine by me. Who needs those Yo-Yos? Or am I right?
Kwazii: Just keep your eyes peeled for some mud, matey.
Light Mudskipper: Ha ha! You can count on me!
(Suddenly, a crocodile sneaks up behind them.)
Kwazii: See anything yet?
Light Mudskipper: I see a seagull, and another seagull...
(Kwazii dives into the water)
Light Mudskipper: ...and I see a crab, and a lobster, and a BIG OLD CROCODILE! And a bunch of shrimp!
Kwazii: Wait, w-what was the last one?
Light Mudskipper: The shrimp?
Kwazii: No, the one before that.
Light Mudskipper: Oh, that was a crocodile. (RUN FOR IT!!!!!)
Kwazii: Oh... CROCODILE?!?!?! Yow!
(The crocodile pursues Kwazii as he swims for cover.)
Kwazii: CAPTAIN!!! PESO!!! I'VE GOT A GIANT CROCODILE ON ME TAIL!!!
Captain Barnacles: We're on our way!
Light Mudskipper: Hey! You want a piece of this big guy?! Come and get it!!
Kwazii: That's not helping!
(Kwazii gets under a tree as the crocodile crashes into the stump, causing the branches to collapse. The crocodile then retreats.)
Kwazii: Phew! He's leaving!
(The crocodile whips the pile of branches with his tail. A stick falls and lands on Kwazii's head, deactivating his helmet.)
Kwazii: My hElmEt!
(Kwazii tries to reactivate his helmet, but it doesn't work.)
Kwazii: It'S bRoKeN!
(Kwazii struggles to break free from the branches.)
Light Mudskipper: Uh-Oh! We're trapped!
Kwazii: DoN't WoRrY, mAtEy! I-I'lL gEt Us SoMe AiR!
(Kwazii finds a branch and uses it as a breathing tube. The mudskipper uses it.)
Light Mudskipper: Good thinking, pal!
(Meanwhile, Captain Barnacles and Peso are still searching around for Kwazii.)
Captain Barnacles: Hmmm... Any sign of them?
Dark Mudskipper: Not a zip. Nothing!
Peso: Over there, Captain!
(Captain Barnacles and Peso find Kwazii's breathing tube and hear breathing. They dive underwater and see him.)
Peso: Kwazii!
Captain Barnacles: This calls for some Polar Bear strength! (Go for it, Captain Barnacles, show those branches what you've got!)
(Captain Barnacles attempts to pull a branch from the pile.)
Dark Mudskipper: Come on! You can do it! We're rooting on you, big guy!
(Captain Barnacles continues to try in all his might to pull a branch from the pile, then he was successful when he ripped a piece of the branch off. Kwazii is finally free.)
Kwazii: ThAnKs, CaPtAiN!
(He makes a rush for the surface, with Barnacles and Peso following.)
Dark Mudskipper: Hey, no biggie, I could've down that if I wasn't stuck in this stinking helmet!
(Kwazii gasps for air)
(The three get to the surface.)
Captain Barnacles: Here we are.
(The three found a mud spot.)
Dark Mudskipper: Hey! Not bad! This is more like it!
Kwazii: It looks like there's plenty of room for all of you here.
Light Mudskipper: Whoopee! A new location!
Medium Mudskipper: Thanks for helping us! Even though we didn't really need it! (Lands on Peso's fin) Hey, give me some fin! (High-Fives Peso, then swims to the mud.)
Dark Mudskipper: You think I'm gonna let those Yahoos get all the best spots?! Forget about it!
(The last Mudskipper swims to the mud.)
Peso: Do you think the Mudskippers will be alright here?
(The three Mudskippers argue, again.)
Captain Barnacles: I have the feeling they'll be just fine. Or as they might say "Forget about it"!
(Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso laugh as the scene fades away.)
