”The Octonauts and the Pink Glacier” is the fourth episode of the Above & Beyond spin-off series' second season.
After rescuing a group of pikas from their flooding island, Pearl, Dashi and Kwazii discover where the flooding came from; a melting glacier that has become pink due to red algae.

- The characters paired up for this mission are Kwazii, Tweak, and Pearl. Whilst not taking part in the mission, Shellington gives Kwazii and Pearl tips on how to stop the glacier from melting from his lab.
- The Terra Gup 3 makes its debut in this episode.
- This is the first episode where Periwinkle is seen in the Octopod in Above and Beyond. He stays in the lab the entire episode, however has no lines after the episodes beginning.
- Like Kwazii in The Siberian Salamander. This episode marks the first time in the franchise, Peso is given no lines. Coincidentally, however, Kwazii is on this mission whilst Peso isn’t, whilst in The Siberian Salamander it’s the opposite.
- Kwazii says that ice worms are massive giant monsters, 100 feet long. This could be referencing some Ice Worm myths, relating to what Kwazii mentioned, or the Ice Worms featured in the game series: Subnautica
