While racing inside the Gup-B, Kwazii finds a school of sardines and decides to race them until one sardine gets separated from the school. As Kwazii tries to help, the Gup-B gets stuck inside an old fishing net. His new friend Dina the Sardine didn't want to leave Kwazii until his "school" came and made sure he was alright. She will soon need his team's help when a trio of hungry sharks try to catch her school.

- Shellington says he hears an elephant seal snoring, which might be a reference to The Enormous Elephant Seal, the episode that played before this one on Netflix and on television.
- This is the only episode where Dashi is ordered by Barnacles to open the Octo-Hatch and the first episode where she opens it.
