While setting up some special wave detecting Octofloats around a rocky island, the crew runs into a family of sea lions who are playing with them like balls. But, when a wave traps Dashi in a cave with one of the sea lions who injured his flipper, the Octonauts and the other sea lions must work together to save them with a string-attached life preserver before the waves get too rough.
