After an overnight mission, Kwazii, Captain Barnacles, and Peso encounter a school of seahorses. They meet Sonny and Janis, a seahorse couple doing their dance of love, before heading back to the Octopod. Suddenly, a strong undersea storm hits, and the Octonauts catch a glimpse of Janis caught in the middle of it. They respond by rushing back to the Gup-A. After Kwazii rescues Janis and brings her into the Gup, the team finds out that Sonny must be found urgently, as he's going to give birth to their babies soon. After some brief shock at the concept on Kwazii's end, the team set off to the Kelp Forest to search for the missing seahorse. When he's found along with other seahorses in the area, Peso helps him successfully deliver the babies.
