"The Octonauts and the Siberian Salamander" is the fifth episode of the Above & Beyond spin-off series' first season.
While out researching a Siberian lake with Professor Inkling, Paani ends up losing his beloved sampling pole. When Dashi and Peso arrive to help retrieve it, the four are quickly informed about a mysterious 'frozen creature', who turns out to be a hibernating Siberian Salamander.
