Trixie is a Triggerfish that makes her home out of whatever litter she finds floating on the ocean's surface as long as it protects her from birds up above and big fish below. Trixie uses one of the Octonauts' octo-floats layered with some floating pieces of kelp or seaweed as her home. She also makes a grunting noise which sounds like a pig as she bumps away anyone that tries to occupy her home.

Trixie has a brownish-tan color, similar to Hank, a humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa fish. Top - bright brown. Middle - beige. Bottom - brownish white.
