Tunip acts as a leader for all of the Vegimals, consisting of Barrot, Tominnow, Codish, and Grouber. Sometimes he'll either frown at them or faint if they make mistakes, but he still cares about them. And they all know to work together in any situation.

Shellington[]

Shellington was the first octonaut to discover the vegimals' species when they were eggs. Shellington is kind of like a father-figure to them as he is one of the few members of the crew to understand their language. In The Immortal Jellyfish, Tunip helps Shellington who is very clumsy by carrying his bag and getting them to the reef.

Tunip seems to get along well with Paani. He even taught him how to make Fish Biscuits. He also went on some missions with Paani.

Pangolin[]

Tunip got caught under some rocks during a mudslide in The Monster Digger, and the Pangolin saved him twice by digging him out from the pile and then covering him during another rockslide. He was so grateful, that he hugged her on the nose twice, even before she went back to her den to sleep for the day.
