Uncle Buck, or Buck, is an adult male red deer first seen in the Above and Beyond episode, "The Missing Lake". According to his niece Rowan, he went missing a few days ago at the same time the water did from the lake. Tracker finds him when his falls through a sinkhole in the ground. With the entrance to the hole closed up, Tracker calls for help and the Octonauts send their cave expert Ryla with Tweak, Dashi, and the TG-3 to rescue them. Along the way, they find the water from the lake had poured into an underground tunnel and they meet a natterjack toad named Nat. Suddenly, rain starts to pour, and water starts filling up the cave. They manage to escape, and Buck happily reunites with his niece.
